As you all know, I am a huge fan of the teachings of Abraham Hicks, and the laws of the universe. Applying these principles in our lives consciously, and in our parenting, can bring us higher levels of peace, prosperity, and abundance in myriad ways.

This particular exercise, is a process you can do, any time you are feeling overwhelm with all the things you need to take care of in your life.

(which I know NEVER happens to parents, right?)  🙂

What we often don’t realize, is that if we allow the universe to provide for us, you will be amazed at how many times solutions will come, in unexpected ways.

What keeps that from happening, is our resistance, and thought that if it is to be done, we must be the one to do it.

I have a saying that I got from a friend of mine about 20 years ago, and those of you who know me well, have likely heard me say this often.  When things are out of my control, or I’m worried, or anxious, I remind myself to “Give it to God and go dancing.”  This process outlined in the video below gives you a format to do just that.  In a more structured way, of course.

Give this a try for a week – see what transpires.

What are some ways you have “released resistance” and how did the solution manifest for you?

  1. So often when we make our lists of things we are going to do today we forget to be reasonable. We write down so many things we could not possibly get them done in a month or year, much less a single day! By letting go of some of the things that we think we have to be in control, we often get the results we want–or even better!
